- STEP 1
You must be 21 years of age or older
- STEP 2
Complete your firearm safety certificate (30 question test – available here at Fowler for $25)
- STEP 3
Provide your valid California Drivers License or Identification Card. (Note: If your license/ID State “Federal Limits Apply” you will need your passport or passport card.)
- STEP 4
At the time of purchase a dealer record of sale will be recorded which begins your 10 day hold and background check.
- STEP 5
Provide Proof of Residency - – Current DMV Registration with matching name and address
- – Electricity, gas, cable bill with matching name and address within the last 90 days
- – Signed, dated and notarized rental agreement
